## FAQ

<details>

<summary><strong>Can the Polysher™ be used with other solvent than IPA?</strong></summary>

No, the nebulizer is designed and calibrated to only work with IPA, moreover other solvents may damage the Polysher™.\
The Polysher™ will not work with PLA.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>How often do I need to change the nebulizer?</strong></summary>

The nebulizer membrane may develop micro-cracks over time which may affect the mist production performance. We recommend changing the nebulizer when you notice a drop in your mist density or height. The nebulize can usually last \~100hours of polishing time. The Polysher™ comes with 2 nebulizers.\
Additional nebulizers can be found [here.](https://us.polymaker.com/products/nebulizer-pack)

<details>

<summary><strong>Does the Polysher™ uses a heat source to work?</strong></summary>

No, for additional safety we have developed a technology using a nebulizer to create a mist of micro droplet which will evenly smooth your 3D printed part.\
NOTE: We do not heat up the IPA and use the vapor to smooth the 3D print.

<summary><strong>Where can I find extra trays?</strong> </summary>

We do not sell these separately but you can print [THIS ](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2340676)file and it should work great.  Just do not print it in a PVB material.  PLA or ABS should work fine. &#x20;
