# Temperatura de extrusão ≠ temperatura de impressão

Um fenômeno interessante na impressão 3D é que a temperatura configurada no slicer nem sempre corresponde à temperatura real em que o filamento está sendo extrudado.

Falamos disso também na seção de [empenamento](/polymaker-wiki/polymaker-wiki-pt/dicas-de-impressao/ciencia-dos-materiais/empenamento.md) em Ciência dos Materiais, mas a ideia central é simples: o material leva tempo para aquecer. Se você imprimir mais rápido do que o hotend consegue fundir o filamento, a extrusão real vai acontecer em uma temperatura menor do que a definida no slicer.

**Temperatura de extrusão:** a temperatura em que o plástico sai do bico (em ˚C)

**Taxa de extrusão:** a velocidade em que o plástico sai do bico (em mm3/s)

É por isso que, ao imprimir muito rápido em uma máquina sem hotend de alto fluxo, você pode precisar configurar temperatura acima da recomendada pelo fabricante. Se a extrusão ocorrer fria demais por causa da velocidade, a peça pode sair com acabamento mais fosco, apresentar subextrusão ou até entupir.
