Que signifie TD ?
En impression 3D (en particulier dans les travaux de type HueForge « lithophane/peinture »), TD signifie Distance de transmission, ce qui décrit la quantité de lumière pouvant traverser un filament à une épaisseur donnée. En pratique, il s’agit de l’épaisseur approximative de plastique solide (en millimètres) que la lumière peut traverser avant d’être effectivement bloquée ou de ne plus contribuer au mélange visible des couleurs entre les couches.
Cela signifie qu’un TD de 2 voudrait dire qu’après l’impression d’une pièce d’environ 2 mm d’épaisseur, la transmission de la lumière est suffisamment faible pour que les couleurs plus profondes contribuent très peu à ce que vous voyez.
J’ai vu vos codes HEX changer, la couleur a-t-elle changé ?
Non ! Aucune couleur n’a réellement changé si vous voyez une valeur HEX changer. La seule chose qui a changé est notre méthode de test afin d’obtenir une valeur HEX plus précise. Il peut être difficile d’obtenir une valeur HEX parfaitement exacte pour un objet physique, mais nous avons continuellement amélioré nos instruments de test pour obtenir des données plus précises. Les valeurs sur cette page devraient être à jour selon nos méthodes de test actuelles.
