# Balanços

Embora usar suporte seja o caminho mais seguro em muitos balanços, imprimir boas superfícies sem suporte costuma economizar tempo e material.

O desafio dos balanços está na quantidade real de área sem apoio. Um mesmo ângulo pode gerar áreas sem suporte diferentes dependendo da altura de camada. À primeira vista, pareceria que áreas menores são sempre melhores, mas camadas muito baixas também ficam menos rígidas. No fim, é sempre um equilíbrio entre rigidez e área sem suporte.

Duas forças principais atuam nessa região: o peso do próprio material (`F1`) e a tensão interna do polímero (`F2`).

De forma geral, os melhores resultados em balanços costumam vir de:

* **Altura de camada maior**, para aumentar a rigidez
* **Velocidade de impressão menor**, para deixar a extrusão mais estável
* **Taxa de extrusão consistente**, para reduzir falhas ao longo da região sem suporte
