# Bicos maiores = melhor adesão entre camadas

Usar um bico maior na impressão 3D pode melhorar a adesão entre camadas, principalmente por causa da maior largura de extrusão e das camadas mais espessas. Quando o diâmetro do bico é maior, ele deposita um cordão mais largo de filamento fundido, criando uma área de contato maior entre as camadas sucessivas. Essa área extra facilita a união entre elas, porque mais material quente de uma camada se funde com a anterior, aumentando a resistência mecânica geral da peça. Camadas mais grossas também significam menos camadas no total, o que reduz a quantidade de interfaces potencialmente fracas que poderiam causar delaminação ou separação. Por isso, peças impressas com bicos maiores muitas vezes apresentam melhor resistência entre camadas, simplesmente porque existem menos oportunidades para falhas de adesão.
