<details>

<summary><strong>Can you anneal Polymaker™ HT-PLA’s?</strong></summary>

Yes, you can anneal BOTH for better Heat Stability performance, however only the GF\
version will gain significant HDT properties.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What is in HT-PLA?</strong></summary>

HT-PLA is a kind of PLA-based multiphase composites, its main structure is PLA\
materials.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What is Heat Stability?</strong></summary>

The ability to withstand high temperatures without deformation while NOT under a\
load.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can it print with PLA settings?</strong></summary>

Yes! This material prints great with generic PLA settings.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How long are the gradient transtions for HT-PLA?</summary>

Polymaker™ HT-PLA - Gradient Rainbow (200g cycle) - Red/Orange/Yellow/Green/Teal

Polymaker™ HT-PLA - Gradient Tropical (120g cycle) - Red/Yellow/Green

Polymaker™ HT-PLA - Gradient Ice (100g cycle) - Blue/White

Polymaker™ HT-PLA - Gradient Fire (120g cycle) - Red/Orange/Yellow

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Are Polymaker™ HT-PLA’s hygroscopic?</strong></summary>

It has similar hygroscopic properties to PLA.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Are Polymaker™ HT-PLA’s UV / Weather resistant?</strong></summary>

Similar to generic PLA, no material-modification for UV/weather resistance, we need\
further testing.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What is the shrinkage rate?</strong></summary>

Very minimal, similar to generic PLA.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Is it dishwasher safe? (Food safety, water steam)</strong></summary>

This depends on the 3D print and how sturdy it is. If you have thin walls they may be subject to warping due to the harsher environment.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Are Polymaker™ HT-PLA’s abrasive?</strong></summary>

Polymaker™ HT-PLA is non-abrasive however Polymaker™ HT-PLA-GF has glass fibers so\
you will need a hardened nozzle to prevent wear and tear on your printer.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can you print Polymaker™ HT-PLA’s with a smaller nozzle?</strong></summary>

Yes, you can use a smaller nozzle, like 0.2mm nozzle.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What is the highest speed you can print at?</strong></summary>

HT-PLA you can print up to 300mm/s and HT-PLA-GF you can print up to 350mm/s.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Do all of the color have the same heat resistance?</strong></summary>

Yes, all of the colors and variations have the same heat properties

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Is it biodegradable?</strong></summary>

The resin matrix of HT-PLA contains only a small amount of non-biodegradable\
components. Therefore, we consider it to be a material with good biodegradability\
similar to polylactic acid

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Is it strong?</strong></summary>

The layer adhesion is fairly low, not recommended for single wall prints.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Does it has fumes when printing?</strong></summary>

It will be similar to standard PLA

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Can I anneal HT-PLA in boiling water?</strong></summary>

Yes you can, however if you have hard water with high mineral content, boiling your part can cause the minerals to form a white dust coasting on the surface.

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Is this PLA also based on NatureWorks?</strong></summary>

Yes

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Does HT-PLA have similar chemical resistance as regular PLA?</strong></summary>

Yes

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>What percentage of fiberglass will be in the HT-PLA-GF composition?</strong></summary>

12%

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Could CoPE work well as a support material?</strong></summary>

Yes

</details>

<details>

<summary><strong>Do you have to remove the annealed parts out of the oven immediately or let it cool</strong><br><strong>down in the oven after annealing?</strong></summary>

No, you can remove them immediately if needed.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can HT-PLA be used as support material for higher temperature materials?</summary>

Yes! HT-PLA has been tested by the community and it does work as great support material for PET-CF. It may work for other high temperature materials as well, but so far only PET-CF has been tested.
